practical rifle

In the Practical Rifle class students will build upon the fundamentals of rifle shooting to develop practical skills including shooting from cover, transitions to pistol, positional transitions, and dynamic movement. Students should already have a strong grasp of safe weapons handling and a familiarity with both rifle and pistol shooting.

REgistration Requirements

$150 / person

Must be legally eligible to purchase/own/possess a firearm

Please come with rifle already zeroed and furniture mounted

Cancellations made at least two weeks in advance will be refunded

If the class is cancelled registration fee will be refunded or can be applied to another course at student’s request

REquired Equipment

Semi Automatic Rifle (AR pattern preferred)

Sling

At least two rifle magazines, at least two pistol magazines

Belt with OWB holster and magazine pouches

At least 150 rounds of quality rifle ammunition (steel core not allowed)

At least 50 rounds of quality pistol ammunition

Eye and ear protection

Closed toe shoes

Water and snacks

Suggested Equipment

Sunscreen and/or sun shirt

Rain Jacket

Paper and something to write with

Bug spray

Camping Chair

Rifle and pistol cleaning kit

Extra batteries for red dot, electronic hearing protection, etc.
