practical pistol
The Practical Pistol class is a four hour course which will build on the basic fundamentals of pistol shooting. In this class students will engage in longer strings of fire, shooting under time standards, target recognition drills, emergency reloads, shooting at distance, and movement while firing. This is an advanced class and students should have a firm grasp of both safe firearm handling and shooting.
REgistration Requirements
$150 / person
Must be legally eligible to purchase/own/possess a firearm
Cancellations made at least two weeks in advance will be refunded
If the class is cancelled registration fee will be refunded or can be applied to another course at student’s request
REquired Equipment
Semi Automatic Handgun
At least two magazines (three is preferred)
At least 150 rounds of quality ammunition
Eye and ear protection
Closed toe shoes
Belt with holster and magazine pouches
Water and snacks
Suggested Equipment
Sunscreen and/or sun shirt
Rain Jacket
Paper and something to write with
Magazine speed loader
Bug spray
Camping Chair
Handgun cleaning kit
Extra batteries for red dot, electronic hearing protection, etc.
