emergency medical
The Emergency Medical class is a three hour course that addresses common medical emergencies, recognizing the signs of hypoperfusion (shock), and stabilization and treatment of immediate life threatening conditions. We will also go over medical kit essentials along with instruction and reasoning behind each item in the kit. This class is mostly lecture, but it is recommended that you purchase a tourniquet and bring it to the class as we will discuss proper staging and storage of a tourniquet for effective and efficient use within your medical kit.

$30 / person
Cancellations made at least two weeks in advance will be refunded
If the class is cancelled registration fee will be refunded or can be applied to another course at student’s request

Tourniquet (North American Rescue CAT tourniquet is recommended, though we will cover other types as well)
